VIRTUAL BUSINESS ADDRESS

A virtual business address that keeps home and business separate

Your business needs an address for customers, suppliers and the post they send. Your home address doesn’t have to be the one you share.

Mailboxx gives you a virtual business address in the UK and an easy way to manage the letters that arrive. Read them online with Virtual Inbox or receive the paper through Forward Flex. A director’s service address is included with either plan.

Plans from £14.99 + VAT a month. One-off setup fee £14.99 + VAT.

Keep your home address for home

Use a separate address for your business post, invoices, supplier accounts and customer letters. Keep your home and family separate from the contact details you share through your business.

Your Mailboxx address can stay the same when you move home. Update your UK forwarding address in the app and carry on receiving your business post through the same mailbox.

An address for sole traders and companies

You can use Mailboxx whether you’re a sole trader, freelancer or running a limited company. Choose the plan around how you want to receive your post.

Virtual Inbox includes 25 scanned pages each month and lets you read your letters in the app. Forward Flex includes envelope scans and one monthly forwarding event with postage covered.

Choose where customers and suppliers write to you

Once your mailbox is approved and active, use the exact address format and mailbox identifier shown in your app. Give those details to the organisations whose post you want us to receive.

Business post, a company’s registered office and a director’s service address are different uses. Both plans include a director’s service address. For your company’s registered office, select the £5 + VAT monthly registered address add-on during signup.

Some organisations still need your home address or where your business operates. You can provide those details separately from the address where you receive business post.

Understand the different business addresses

Renting your home

If your tenancy agreement restricts using your home as a business or registered address, Mailboxx gives you a separate address for your business post and an included director’s service address. Add the registered address option if you also need a company registered office.

Business addresses when you rent your home

Keep your address independent of your accountant

You can work with your accountant while keeping direct access to your letters. Share the post they need and manage the rest yourself.

If you change advisers, your Mailboxx address can continue while your service remains active. Your business post stays with you through the change.

Accountant’s address or your own mailbox?

Add a registered address during signup

Our registered address add-on is £5 + VAT a month and works with either mail plan. Select it during signup to use Mailboxx as your company’s registered office. Our current registered office service covers companies registered in England and Wales.

Once your mailbox is approved and the add-on is active, you can update your company records using the address details we provide. A director’s service address is already included, so you can use that without buying the add-on.

Questions about your business address

  1. 01

Do I have to live near the address?

You can use Mailboxx from anywhere in the UK. You’ll need a UK forwarding address and proof of address when you sign up.

  2. 02

Does this give me an office to work in?

Mailboxx is an address and mail-handling service. It doesn’t include a workspace or meeting office.

  3. 03

Can I use it as proof of where I live?

Your Mailboxx address is for business post. You’ll still provide your residential address where an organisation needs to verify where you live.

  4. 04

Will it remove my home address from old records?

A separate address helps you keep future business contact details separate from home. Changing it doesn’t automatically remove copies already published in older records or on other websites.

Give your business its own address

Choose how you want to receive your post and manage it through your own mailbox. Keep your home address for home.
